What I did

As a Product Designer, I ran a full UX audit of MeTime, a two-sided platform connecting patients to aesthetic and cosmetic treatment providers, spanning the web and a patient-facing mobile app, and built the information architecture from the ground up. The audit scored every core journey against usability heuristics and surfaced 20+ documented issues, from broken login/registration flows to missing information at key decision points. Those findings directly shaped the subsequent UI redesign and onboarding rework.

How I did it, and what I used:

  • Ran a structured heuristic evaluation
Scored every core mobile journey (sign-up, onboarding, journey creation, provider matching, messaging, explore, profile) against Nielsen's 10 usability heuristics, flagging each screen green/yellow/red to separate must-fix problems from minor polish.

  • Found the real blockers, not just surface bugs
The evaluation showed users struggling most with login and registration, missing information at the moments they needed it most, and unclear system feedback, not just visual inconsistency.

  • Audited the existing UI inventory
Catalogued every button, input, card, popup, and notification pattern in use across the product to see where the design system had drifted and where the fixes actually needed to happen.

  • Rebuilt the site's information architecture
Restructured the full sitemap into two clear tracks, For Providers and For Patients (MeTime app), each with its own demo request, plans, and content paths, so provider- and patient-facing journeys stopped competing for the same navigation.

  • Mapped every flow before redesigning
Wireframed onboarding, provider search and matching, messaging, and profile journeys screen by screen in Figma to validate the new structure before any UI changes were made.

  • Turned the audit into action
Packaged the findings into a prioritized list of 20+ documented usability issues that directly guided the UI redesign and onboarding changes that followed.
